I think the first time that I really met you (or at least the first time that I have specific memory of it) was at the "New Mom's Dessert" in late 2004 or early 2005, right after Elizabeth was born. I remember thinking how neat it was that someone without kids was "hosting" a group of mom's with young babies! It was great to get to know you a little bit that night and thank you for ministering to us. I've always thought of you as someone who uses her gifts well (I specifically think of music), but also ministers well to those who aren't always in your "stage of life". It's so easy to just cluster with those who are similar to you (I'm thinking of myself, here), either single, young couple, young family, youth group, prime timers, etc, but so often I see you leaving your "box" to step out and engage with others. Know that you are blessing them, and I'm sure they are blessing you. Thanks you for your giving heart and your bright smile - and your beautiful voice! Happy Birthday!
